Holland or the Netherlands - whichever you choose!

Hello from Amsterdam. We decided to make a small pit stop in Amsterdam, enoying some beautiful tulips, coffeeshops and the Rainbow Palace. The city itself is probably my favorite, it's surrounded by canals (like Venice) but bikes outnumber the cars. We arrived last Monday and didn't have a place to stay, so we had the train station book us a hotel. Needless to say, they didn't tell us anything about it - just that it was in our price range (which is very cheap!). We showed up to the "Rainbow Palace" and realized that we were the minority. For those still trying to figure it out, think rainbows, Amsterdam and yep, you guessed it - lots of men!

Yesterday we took a bike tour around the city, enjoying the different sites that have made Amsterdam famous - coffeeshops, cafe's and the red light district. Today we enjoyed cycling over to the Heinekin brewery, where they have basically turned the brewery into Disneyland for Adults. We also visited the Anne Frank museum, which has been one of my favorite.

Tomorrow we are off to London for the last stop in our journey. Are we ready to come home yet? Not quite - we still feel like there's so much to see! But Kerry and I are both looking forward to sleeping in our own bed and not eating out every meal. And of course, we miss everyone! How about we all take a group trip to Spain next summer for a week- I think with 150 people, we could charter our own plane. Who's coming with me?!
