And all of a sudden, it's August.

When you have two, very busy children, time is measured in blocks of time; before nap and after nap. And this summer, is no different. We have spent mornings swimming, picking berries, exploring hiking trails and spend afternoons making forts, running through sprinklers and planning our next adventure. In addition, we have been gone for about half the summer at various vacation spots. In a nutshell, this summer has been awesome. The kids are finally at an age where they can enjoy activities together. I no longer have an infant strapped to my chest, while trying to (unsuccessfully) chase after my toddler. Things change so quickly but I finally understand the sentiment when people tell me, "it just keeps getting better." Of course having somewhat independent children poses a whole new set of challenges but for now, I'm going to sit back and enjoy the ride because really, this is the best time of our lives.
